Fox’s work ranges from children’s books and graphic novels to storyboards, character design, branding packages and marketing collateral. Her business is to tell stories- whether they are non-fiction, cultural folk tales, or how businesses can meet specific needs. While she specialize in art that tends toward a whimsical aesthetic reminiscence of 1930’s cartoons, she is able to mimic any style or visual language that is necessary for a given project.
Currently she designs and illustrates children’s books for St. Louis boutique publisher: Hired Ink. She has illustrated books for clients that include Build-A-Bear Workshop®, Monsanto, Centene Corporation, and Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center. In addition, Fox has created branding systems, informational web graphics, package design, and is currently working on a series of works based around Korean folktales.
Fox taught as a visiting professor at Washington University in St. Louis, where she also completed her BFA. When not in her studio, she also spends her time as an actress, blues singer, swing dancer, and model. She currently lives in St. Louis.
